Recently, after a few members have needed to move away, we have sadly stopped working on molTÂN but we hope to continue to run classes in the future under its off shoot
molTÂN makers.
MolTÂN Makers is a not for profit organisation that provides classes catering to all skill levels to get people involved in creative expression through sculpture. As artists we understand how a creative outlet can be hugely beneficial to people and we want to make that more readily available.
These classes are specialised in cast metals including iron, bronze and aluminium and will teach people the basics of how to think and create in 3D using techniques used for thousands of years (with maybe one or two tweaks over the years).
We hope to get people as excited about working creatively as we are,
especially if it means getting your hands dirty.

Classes
For a few years, we ran simple 1 day classes doing scratch moulds and aluminium and more complex classes over 5 days with multiple piece moulds and iron.
Community led Sculpture
We had the opportunity to work with an assisted living home to deliver some creative classes that led to the production of a sculpture that is now pride of place in front of their building. They helped design and produce it from start to finish.
Commissions and Sculptures
There were the odd commission and some fun products we made too.
